I am getting government law college Mumbai and am waiting for my engineering counselling to get over. According to me i will get a seat in a good and reputed college in Ahmedabad which is local for me. So i want to know that should i choose law or engineering if i want to pursue civil services otherwise what are other options after LLB as well as B.Tech if i want to go for further studies????
f you want to pursue Indian Administrative Services IAS then Law as a career is more useful than Engineering. Truly speaking even a B.Com Degree is sufficient for the eligibility to apply for IAS in India. What you are required is the General Knowledge and Current Affairs including Politics statistical figures years whos who etc.
Personally i believe that the exams are tough due to a large no. of student appearing thought our nation. Further the transparency itself is questionable. I know people who try for years together after 10 plus 2 or plus 3.
Instead go for you regular Engineering Degree and become a successful person in life.
All the Best.
